Why Vinyl Matters

Bob on the Bob - Why Vinyl Matters by Bob

In recent times, the number of ways we listen to music has changed so much. We have CD's now, we have tape recordings, we have the radio constantly playing when driving. The most recent seems to be the rise in the music video (the most pointless of all). And what is the cost of this rise in the ways we can listen to music? The only true way of listening to music, the vinyl record.

Why you may ask? Well for many reasons. Mainly for the audio quality as vinyl sounds just as the artist intended. Listening to a CD or tape or whatever just ruins it as it gets tampered with too much by someone who hasn't got any fucking idea of what music is supposed to sound like. Another reasons is that listening to vinyl means that you actually listen to it . When you listen to a CD or a tape or the radio, its just background noise to distract you from your pathetic life. If you don't have time to just sit back and listen to music in its true form, then I really do feel sorry for you as you are just wasting your life away.

People will argue against me on this. "CD is cheaper and sounds the same". NO! NO IT FUCKING DOES NOT! What you are doing is just giving in and mark my words, the fall of vinyl will mark the fall of music. Everything will just sound the same. It will all be shit generic songs that are not about anything! We must not let this happen!

BOB.
